The provided T4 polynucleotide kinase attaches ATP to the 5’ hydroxyl group of oligonucleotides, single-stranded DNA, or RNA. Removal of 5’ phosphate may be required for some DNA substrates to allow labeling. The kit can also be used to add non-radiolabeled nucleotides to the 5’ end of DNA.
